Premier Education has been recognised again at the British Franchise Association Awards, this year winning Gold for Leadership & Culture and Silver for Franchise of the Year (established).
For us, these awards matter because they reflect the real experiences inside our network: how we lead, how we support, and how we help franchisees grow strong and sustainable businesses.
Culture isn’t a slogan here at Premier Education, it’s the backbone of how the network operates. We have worked hard to build a people-first model where leadership, clarity and development are part of everyday practice.
The judges spoke directly to franchisees and looked closely at how the business functions behind the scenes. What they repeatedly heard mirrors the feedback we see across the network:
This award recognises more than operational processes. It reflects the way the entire network invests in people, celebrating achievements, raising standards, and creating routes for long-term career and business growth.
Our focus on quality underpins all of this. We’ve shown we can combine scale, consistency and high standards. And with a 4.6/5 Trustpilot score, families trust the brand to deliver safe, reliable, expert-led childcare. We believe this is an essential foundation for every franchisee.
Head of People and Culture, Amy Burdett, said: “Winning the Leadership & Culture Award is a testament to how Premier’s award-winning culture is embedded across the organisation, driven by our leaders and lived every day by franchisees. I’m so proud this award recognises Premier’s incredible journey.”
Taking home Silver in this category highlights the strength and maturity of the Premier Education model.
Judges look for stability, transparent leadership, and a support structure that helps franchisees deliver quality consistently. The result shows the fundamentals of the business remain strong commercially, operationally and culturally.
It also reflects the work franchisees do every day:
That impact was visible to the panel, and it played a major part in the recognition.
What also sets Premier Education apart is the breadth of support franchisees access: national systems, sector specialists, and influence at government level. We don’t just operate in the childcare sector, we help shape it.
We now deliver wraparound care in more than 250 settings nationwide and provide over 230,000 hours of childcare every month, helping families and supporting schools at scale.
Our commitment is simple, says CEO David Batch: “We use the same tools, frameworks and systems we expect franchisees to use. We walk the walk before we ask anyone to follow it.”
And the vision ahead is bold. We’re already the UK’s largest provider of wraparound care, and our long-term plan is to grow to 1,000 settings, delivering high-quality childcare in every part of the country.
This recognition gives potential franchisees a clearer picture of what we stand for: a straightforward and successful model, a supportive culture, and a leadership team committed to doing things well, consistently, and for the long term.
